Hotmail met Lycos ophalen

Ik heb sinds kort een Lycos e-mail adres (betaald). Ik heb Lycos zo ingesteld dat het mijn post uit Hotmail ophaalt en dumpt in mijn Lycos Inbox.

Mijn vraag is nu, moet ik nog steeds soms inloggen op Hotmail om mijn account actief te houden?
Lycos haalt namelijk alles uit Hotmail op. Dus lijkt mij dat Lycos verbinding maakt met Hotmail.

Kan iemand me dat vertellen?
