Office2003 + Word97 spellcheck

Ik heb hier een aantal pc's met Office 2003, maar in plaats van word2003 staat hier word97 op (dit in verband met andere software die niet met 2003 om kan gaan). Dit draait op Windows XP machines. Alle software is engelstalig. De spellingscontrole in Word97 voor Nederlands werkt hier alleen niet op. Iemand enig idee hoe dat komt??

Dat gaat inderdaad niet lukken.
Ik geloof dat er een spellingschecker is voor 97, maar of die er nog verkocht wordt geen idee.

ik heb eerst office 2003 geinstalleerd, zonder word dus, en daarna word97. Toch heb ik het vermoeden dat de file voor spellcheck in NL uit office2003 afkomstig is. Welke file zou dat zijn? (zodat ik effe kan controleren)

daar moet het wel mee lukken denk ik
ben nu effe een test-omgeving aan het inrichten en mik de 97 spellings-files effe in de proof-folder. Eens kijken wat dat gaat opleveren

gevonden... inderdaad de map proof van de office97 cd kopieren naar C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\PROOF
Als local admin is dat al voldoende. Als user moet er nog even 2 regkeys worden aangepast in windows xp of 2000:
Windows XP
1. Quit Word. Quit Microsoft Outlook if you are using Word as your e-mail editor.
2. Click Start, and then click Run. In the Open box, type Regedt32.exe and then click OK.
3. Select the first registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing Tools\Spelling
4. On the Edit menu, click Permissions.
5. Click Advanced.
6. In the Permissions Entries box, click the Users group, and then click the View/Edit button.
7. Click to select the Allow check box for the Set Value and Create Subkeys permissions.
8. Click OK twice.
9. Repeat steps 3 through 8 for the second registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing Tools\Grammar
10. Quit Registry Editor.
The Spelling and Grammar features will be available (not dimmed) and will work as expected the next time that you start Word.

Windows 2000

maak de user local admin, log in met de user en doe een spell-check in het nederlands. Daarna kun je de user weer uit de local-admin groep halen en alles werkt zoals het hoort
