With the five major SLR manufacturers from the last century all now shipping more than one digital SLR each, and at least three more electronics manufacturers pledged to join the fray, it's clear that 2006 will be the Year of the SLR. Because SLRs are modular, half the fun of buying and using one is deciding what lenses and accessories to add to make your photography better. SLRgear.com is dedicated to helping you choose from the wide array of lenses and accessories available from both camera manufacturers and third party lens and accessory makers.
The team at Imaging Resource created SLRgear.com because we wanted to provide a place for readers to post their own reviews on lenses and camera accessories, benefitting from each other's experience. For lenses in particular though, we offer our own graphical front end to the incredibly detailed test results generated with DxO Analyzer(R), to show how each lens performs across its full range of focal lengths and f/stops.
