[Linux] Kan niet meer switchen tussen consoles in X

Ik heb sindskort Zenwalk Linux op mn laptop geinstalleerd. Na het runnen van wat updates kan ik opeens niet meer switchen tussen consoles als ik in X (XFCE) zit. Ik bedoel dus wat je met ctrl+alt+F6, F5 etc. doet. Als ik niet in X zit (gewoon in textmode dus) dan werkt het wel . Ook doet ctrl+alt+backspace het onder X (dus ctrl+alt toetsen werken goedl?). Verder kom ik met het commando 'chvt 6' (vanuit X) wél gewoon in een nieuwe textmode console.

Iemand een idee hoe ik dat ctrl+alt+Fx weer aan de praat krijg?

Volgens mij zijn dit opties die je in de config file van je X server kan instellen.

Meestal staat deze config file in de map /etc/X11/, de file die je moet hebben is XF86Config (voor XFree86 X windows system ) of xorg.conf ( als je Xorg X windows system gebruikt )

Moet je even zoeken naar onderstaande opties.

Dat stond allemaal al goed. Maar... in dat bestand stond ook een optie "XkbLayout" wat op "nec/jp" (japans?) stond. Dit heb ik op "us" gezet en nu werkt het weer!
