Canon Powershot S50: FocalLength in EXIF altijd 7.1 (227/32)

Mijn Canon Powershot S50 geeft in de EXIF data _altijd_ 7.1mm (227/32) als focal distance. Ik heb verschillende programma's geprobeerd (o.a. van Canon zelf) om de EXIF data te lezen, en er komt altijd hetzelfde uit... Wat doe ik fout?

Veel foto's van dezelfde camera op internet hebben ook deze waarde, maar niet allemaal.

Ik ben een "beeldverbeteringsprogramma" (automatische verwijdering van purple fringing e.d.) aan het schrijven wat volledig automatisch moet zijn, maar daar heb ik wel wat gegevens voor nodig, waaronder dus dit... Het zou tenminste leuk zijn als het programma op mijn eigen camera werkt
