[HDD] elke keer Schijfcontrole

Ey...

ik heb het FAQ al doorgenomen,,,,, gezocht in dit forum... maar geen antwoord kunnen vinden

Het probleem:
Elke keer als ik windows opstart/herstart gaat hij een schijfcontrole uitvoeren op partitie D
ik heb hem al een paar keer gwoon volledig laten controleren, maar er zit geen 1 fout in.

Maar toch blijft hij elke keer weer opnieuw schijfcontrole uitvoeren.

Hoe kan ik er voor zorgen dat hij dat niet meer doet?! ik wordt er ziek van, elke keer op een knop duwen zodat hij doorgaat met opstarten.

Mijn specs:

Asus K8V-SE Deluxe
AMD 64-bit 3200+ skt 754
Kingston 512 DDR-RAM PC3200
Maxtor 160 GB S-ATA (2 partities C: en D:)
Windows XP Pro SP2

Is it being properly shutdown ? You might try a full scandisk on the entire drive looking for bad sectors. You could also try to analyze the drive with defrag. If you do have a bad spot on the drive, its possible Windows is not able to work around it. Backups would probably be important at this time just in case. Have a secondary drive ready or perhaps connect it as a slave and you could backup like that. Try the full scan though. There are some third party tools that can do this as well, such as Norton Utilities (www.symantec.com), but windows usually does a good job.

Chkdsk is covered in the "Troubleshooting Disks and File Systems" chapter. The exact topic name is "Using Chkntfs to Prevent Autochk from Running."
* Using the RecoveryConsole, Rename c:\windows\system32\autochk.exe to autochk.old.
* Restart your machine.
* If you are handy with the registry, >>Start>>Run>>Type "regedit">>Enter
* Back up registry first.
* Then search for "autochk" in the registry and find where it autoloads.
* Remove it from this registry key and all others that may reference it.
* Reboot and see if this has gotten rid of your problem!
