Resolutie in Kubuntu met XFree86

Hey,
Ik ben nu een dag aan het klooien met de resolutie op mijn Kubuntu machine, ik heb al een nieuwe reconfigure gedaan en de goede syncs ingevuld, maar me resolutie kan niet hoger dan 1024x768, en ik wil m net op 1280x1024 hebben . Ook met de sneltoets CRTL - ALT - + werkt t nie. Ik lees t allemaal af op mijn Samsung Syncmaster 172x 17' inch.

Ik zal hieronder mijn xorg.conf posten;

@SandervR: Er zijn al talloze topics hierover geweest, gebruik de zoek knop ook eens . Maar om je toch een hint te geven: Weet je echt heel erg zeker dat je je specificaties van je Samsung 172X hebt opgezocht? Ik geloof daar niets van.

De zoekknop gebruik ik in ieder geval vaker dan dat ik inlog om een vraag te stellen . Maar wil je dan AUB wel de goede instellingen posten, ik kon niets vinden

Dan zou ik eerder dat wat je al hebt aanpassen met wat er in deze nieuwe config staat over je monitor... de instellingen van je videokaart zullen namelijk waarschijnlijk wel kloppen, en met de standaard 'ati' drivers zit je, om gewoon beeld te geven, sowiezo wel goed .

Je kunt later nog een keer naar ati's eigen fglrx drivers kijken, dan heb je ook (betere) 3D support en dergelijke .

Kijk eens of je ergens dit programma kunt installeren

ddcxinfo-knoppix

Dit programma scant je monitor voor alle resoluties die de monitor aankan en geeft je dan de Monitor sectie voor je xorg.conf die je dan zelf kunt invoegen.

Misschien heeft je rage pro niet genoeg videogeheugen?

Zet em eens op defaultdepth 16
