[MCE 2005] Films wél buiten, niet binnen MCE - Windows clients

Sommige films (avi/mpg/divx/xvid) spelen NIET binnen de "MCE-schil" maar wél als ik MCE afsluit en dezelfde films open in WMP, MPC, BSplayer etc. etc.

Het betreft een Pundit-R met MCE 2005 met PowerDVD 6. Daarnaast heb ik zowel FFDshow icm. met AC3 codec als delen van K-Lite Mega Codec Pack geprobeerd; beiden hetzelfde resultaat mbt. bovenstaand probleem. Met K-Lite kan ik méér films kan afspelen dan alleen PowerDVD icm. FFDshow en AC3. Maar "buiten" MCE kan ik álles met álle players afspelen en "binnen" MCE niet.

DECCHECK staat goed.

Suggesties?

Blijkbaar heb ik een domme vraag gesteld...
Misschien toch maar eens MediaPortal gaan gebruiken?

Heb je de codec's al geinstalleerd? Heb je wel de goeie codes gebruikt? check hiervoor het MCE tips & tricks topic. De nieuwste alfa van ffdshow moet voldoende zijn

Zoals vermeld; filmpjes draaien (op dezelfde pc) wél buiten de MCE-schil en niet daarbinnen.

Ik ga er dus van uit dat de benodigde codecs op het systeem aanwezig zijn...

ja, maar MCE schijnt nogal eens vreemd te doen met codec's over het algemeen. Bij mij werkte het de eerste keer niet maar na een herinstallatie van ffdshow werkte het wel

Jij hebt iig een keer video via MCE gehad. Ik heb inmiddels wel audio maar geen video binnen MCE.
Ati 7500 MCE drivers van de ati site.
Zowel de "windows" als "normale" video en audio codecs. Het mag niet baten.

De ASUS Pundit-R heeft standaard een Radeon 9100 aan boord...

'k Draai inmiddels ruim anderhalve maand op MediaPortal; gratis, snel, lekker straightforward, betere zoominstellingen voor non-breedbeeldkijkers en geen codec-geneuzel. De kans dat ik weer terugga naar MCE is nihil.

Hier kan dus definitief een slotje op.
