Wie kan me helpen??

Ik ben pas begonnen met me te verdiepen in Voice over IP. Ik maak gebruik van Cisco CallManager Express 3.2. Intern heb ik de telefoons aan de praat gekregen, maar het lukt me niet om naar buiten te bellen. Ik heb tot nu toe de volgende configuratie:

Ik kom niet meer verder en kan niet naar buiten bellen. Weet iemand wat ik precies moet doen om het probleem op te lossen, zodat ik wel naar buiten kan bellen.

Zijn je ISDN interfaces wel voice interfaces (VIC) of mis je soms DSPs (pvdm modules)? Je voice-ports ontbreken namelijk. Misschien handig als je even een 'show version' post.

Post ook nog even een 'show diag' en een 'show voice dsp'. Oorzaak ligt in ieder geval in het ontbreken van of voice interfaces (VIC) of DSPs (of beiden).

Ik zie inderdaad geen voice-ports in de config terug komen. En bij een dial-peer kan ik dan ook geen port commando toevoegen.

Qua hardware zit het toch blijkbaar wel goed, alleen bij de toewijzing van de DSP resources gaat er iets mis. Ik vermoed dat CCME alle DSP resources claimt voor transcoding doeleinden of iets dergelijks waardoor er niets meer overblijft voor de voice interfaces. Ik heb zelf CCME 3.2 gebruikt met een 2610XM/NM-2V/VIC-2BRI-S/T-TE en daarbij had ik dit probleem niet. Wellicht helpt het als je overal expliciet de zelfde codec instelt (bij voorkeur g711alaw).

Het bleek toch dat de hardware niet helemaal in orde was.
De PVDM module zat niet goed in het slot, daardoor kwamen er ook geen voice ports.

Ik heb de module verwijderd en opnieuw in het slot geduwd en jawel hoor, de voice ports zijn aanwezig.

Nu kan ik me lekker bezig gaan houden met het maken van fatsoenlijke voice translation-rules.........
