Ik wil de trial van eWallet op de mpx200 zetten, maar helaas lukt dit niet. Na wat mailtjes op en neer met de servicedesk van Ilium Software kreeg ik het volgende antwoord:
Unfortunately, the eWallet synchronization will not work with your phone. The problem is that your phone is "uncertified". It's like having a device with no serial number. This is a problem because the Smartphone OS and the carriers devised a system to "lock" the phones. This system lets them control whether certain types of software (like our sync engine) will work on the device. In order to function, the software needs a special bit of code in it that the phone recognizes as an indication of "approved software".
To make this recognition though, there has to be a certification on the device to be compared against. Without that certification the end result is a 'failed match' and the software won't run. This is what is happening with your device.
I couldn't say why your phone has no certification. This is an extremely unusual state and I simply couldn't say how it got this way. The only thing I can say is that at this point the sync engine can't run on your phone.
