Asus V880 Raid Controller

Mede tweakers.
ik heb een Asus V880 moederbord gekocht waar en via raid controller op zit.
met behulp van de cd die bij het mobo zat heb ik de drivers op diskette gezet voor sata hdd. maar als hij de files wilt gaan kopieren ( winxp setup ) dan geef hij steeds een error kan XXX.sys niet lezen etc.

ik heb nieuwste sata drivers gedownload.
zelf alle files los op diskette gezet
maar niets mocht baten

Is xxx.sys steeds een random bestand of steeds hetzelfde bestand? Zoja, wat is de filename daarvan? Misschien dat er dan meer over te vinden is

Ik vond dit op internet, het gaat alleen wel over Windows XP 64-bit. Misschien dat je het kan gebruiken als je de 32-bit files gebruikt? (Je zal dus alles ff moeten omzetten, het is in ieder geval al een stap in de goede richting hoop ik)

Here are the steps to take in order to get a working driver disk you can use
when booting the Windows XP for AMD 64-bit installation CD and hitting F6 to
specify additional drivers:

1. Download the VIA Hyperion Pro driver archive from VIA's site:
http://downloads.viaarena...nPro64/VIA_HyperionPro64_ v096P2.zip

2. Extract the contents of the archive downloaded in step one using winzip.

3. Extract the contents of "VIAHyperionpro64-096P2.exe" (the only file in
the archive you downloaded in step 1) using winzip.

4. Open the "SATA" directory.

5. Open the "driver" directory.

6. Copy the "X64" directory and its contents to a blank floppy.

7. Save the text below between ;;start and ;;end to a file named
TXTSETUP.OEM in the root of the floppy.

Ik wou weer een unattended cd maken dus heb voor laatste keer de Raid files los op diskette en in mappen gezet zodat het er dubbel opstond en verrek setup loopt door nja laat ik dat maar niet te hard zeggen. aangezien me brommers ketting ook al brak was ik maar lekker in bed gebleven vandaag
