[Gentoo] ALSA op nec versa p520 met intel i810

Er valt veel over te vinden op het internet maar zelfs met:krijg ik het niet voor elkaar om mijn geluidkaart wakker te schudden.

Op zich gaat alles zoals het hoort, op een vrijwel essentieel puntje na, ik hoor niks :/

(Sander is mijn useraccount, maar ook als root ingelogged krijg ik geen geluid)

In de mixer staan de Master en PCM op 100% volume unmuted

alsaplayer -o alsa -d plug:dmix test.mp3 & start speler, scope doet het alleen geen geluid[/]

aoss mpg123 test.mp3 Geeft als foutmelding:
No default libao driver available.

XMMS start maar of ik nou ALSA of OSS als driver kies, hij reageert altijd hetzelfde.
Als ik op play druk doet hij niks, maar ik moet opnieuw een bestand selecteren.
Wel ziet hij de Intel drivers.

Beste linux orakels. wat zie ik over het hoofd? :?

Ik heb vanmiddag het één en ander veranderd en nu is het zo dat KDE gewoon systeemgeluidjes afspeelt. XMMS speelt, als ik als output plugin ARTS neem, ogg bestanden en wav bestanden af maar geen mp3. Als ik als output plugin ALSA neem speelt hij de ogg bestanden gewoon af (zo te zien) maar ik hoor dan niets. Aan mp3tjes begint XMMS niet eens.

XMMS heeft de volgende plugins:
  • MAD MPEG Decoder (libxmmsmad)
  • MikMod Player (libmikmod)
  • MPEG Leyer 1/2/3 (libmpg123)
  • Ogg Vorbis Player (libvorbis)
/dev/dsp bestaat inmiddels niet meer

alsaplayer -o alsa -d plug:dmix test.mp3 &
Dit werkt nu, en speelt het MP3tje dus hoorbaar af.

Ik heb oss support verwijderd en ALSA nu als module draaien.

Verwijderd

Heb je al geprobeert je drivers te downgraden? Had een soortgelijk probleem met een andere geluidskaart. Heb het opgelost door alsa-libs en alsa-headers te downgraden naar een versie lager dan 0.8, dus 0.7 of 0.6.
En vergeet niet om "oss" in je use flags te zetten als je je alsa-driver emerged..
