SLI met Multimonitor?

Hallo,

Ik heb thuis een SLI systeem gebouwt, een Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe bordje met 2xGF6600GT.

Nu wil ik dat spul graag in SLI opstelling met multimonitor laten draaien, maar dat krijg ik niet voorelkaar en op internet/GoT is weinig info te vinden.

Ik wil graag een 'clone' beeld op mijn TV, zodat als ik aan het gamen ben mijn vriendin mee kan kijken en andersom, of als ik eens iets wil presenteren op TV (eg. films). Als ik SLI uitschakel dan werkt alles vlekkeloos, maar als ik SLI inschakel dan ziet de pc ineens nog maar 1 output device, de monitor OF de TV. Dus een clone-beeld is dan niet meer mogelijk...

Hoe los ik dit op, is dat uberhaupt mogelijk ?

kijk even naar de info die in het SLI-topic wordt gegeven, daar is dit probleem al meerdere malen voorgekomen

Heb zelf geen sli, maar volgens mij helpt het om de tv-out van kaart 2 te gebruiken, en de DVI-out van kaart 1 te gebruiken. Of was dat nou bij 2 pc-beeldschermen . (correct me if i'm wrong)

vreemd, ik dacht dat er een sli topic was, nouja, probeer anders de tip van desertshooter
misschien dat er in het 6600gt topic nog wat meer info over staat, maar dat mag je zelf ff uitzoeken

Nvidia SLI doesn’t support dual screen

A BOSNIAN GAMER friend owner of a SLI setup asked me a very interesting question that I tried to investigate and resolve with Nvidia. He suggested that he couldn’t have SLI enabled and have dual screen mode operating at the same time.
It’s very simple - as soon as you turn SLI you will lose dual screen mode and your second screen will shut off instantly.

We asked Nvidia but it never got back to us officially so we tried it ourselves with two 6600GTs and I learned that you cannot use SLI and two displays at the same time, at least not with the current drivers.

Some gamers actually like to have chat application or some other stuff on second display but with SLI you just cannot get you second display in use while you are playing the game. Some like to chat when they got shot in the game while waiting for the new game to start.

As soon as you turn the SLI mode off, you second display will instantly start. We hope that next driver can resolve this but we are not sure we hope that Nvidia will respond this time. µ
