IIS FTP server achter een IP Masquerading Linux pc

Mythor en ik zijn bezig met een FTP server onder IIS. Deze staat achter een IP masquerading Linux pc.

We kunnen er niet precies achter komen welke ipchains-rules we nodig hebben. Iemand die 't weet? tnx.

First you need the the ipmasqadm package. If you are running a RedHat 6.X or Mandrake distribution, just download the *.rpm file ipmasqadm-0.4.2-3.i386.rpm from

ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/contrib/libc6/i386/

to install, su to root and type:

rpm -i ipmasqadm-0.4.2-3.i386.rpm

If you have another distribution, look at the supplementary cd's that came with it. You will probably find the above program in one of those, whether it be Slackware, Caldera, SuSE, or whatever.

To set the rule for your firewall so that your webcam can pass type

ipmasqadm portfw -a -P tcp -L your.external.ip.number 2047 -R
webcam.pc.ip.number 2047

Gaat erom dat er vanaf die Windows pc een paar mappen geshared worden. Leek ons het makkelijkst als je een paar virtuele maps onder IIS maakt. Als je iets beters weet zou ik 't graag horen

En als ik nou een W2k-svr FTP bij wil hangen ?
Dit ivm dat er in mijn W2ksvr een 20G met MP3's hangt, terwijl er in mijn Linux bak geen plek meer is voor nog een HD.

smbmount is je vrind, in combo met een mooi stuk shellscript wat kijkt of de te mounten shares nog beschikbaar zijn
