Panasonic NV-GS1EG aansluiten via FireWire op Win XP

Beste mensen,

zoals titel al zegt probeer ik mijn Panasonic camera aan te sluiten op mijn PC. Het probleem is alleen dat windows XP Prof. met Service Pack 2 geinstalleerd, mijn camera niet herkend via FireWire.

Heb lopen zoeken naar evt. drivers voor mijn camera, maar tevergeefs. Ook op dit forum gekeken maar met nul resultaat.

Heeft iemand ideeen om de boel toch draaiend te krijgen?

Zit er geen cd bij je camera geleverd met drivers?
Op de site van de fabrikant al gekeken? (neem aan van wel)
Anders even bij de winkel waar je je camera gekocht hebt even vragen of ze drivers ervoor hebben of anders naar het hoofdkantoor van Panasonic bellen.
Wat voor software gebruik je om video te bewerken?

SYMPTOMS
After you upgrade to Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1), you may
experience problems when you try to use your digital video (DV)
camera. The Panasonic NV-C5 DV camera may not be enumerated correctly
when you plug it into your computer. The camcorder driver is not
loaded, but no error messages are reported. You hear the
new-device-enumeration sound and you see the new-device bubble, but
only the lower drivers in the stack are loaded. Without the top-level
camcorder driver, the device does not seem to be discovered by
Windows.

Dank voor reactie.

Over die windows update na service pack 1 heb ik gelezen ja, maar dat zou toch verholpen moeten zijn met sp2 zou je zeggen.

Heb geen CD met drivers, maar probeer Panasonic nog maar eens te bellen. Zijn niet echt klantgericht, maar goed.
