Nokia 7610 besmet met virus over BT

Ja het is eindelijk aan de gang... Vriendin van me met mijn BT aan het spelen. Krijgt ze via bt een bestandje binnen (caribs.sis) ... zij "Goh leuk... ff installe..." Had ze beter maar niet kunnen doen. Ik heb round-up vast lopers. Mijn bt wilt heletijd contecten met een foon die helemaal niet in de buurt "kan" zijn. Bt doet gewoon vaag met aan/uit switche... kortom ... Drama

Dus wat moet ik doen? zijn er al gratis programma's/virus scanners voor symbian 6 foons??? Ik heb me echt al lame zitte zoeken op het net maar kom niet echt ver. Zeker niet hoe ik dit dus echt ga reparen.
Misschien een nieuwe firmware bij de shop maar dat wil ik nou juist als laatste keuze hebben

Kan me niet voorstellen dat je je lame hebt gezocht op het net. Maar misschien ook wel omdat je het beestje niet bij de juiste naam noemt, het is het cabir virus en niet caribs of zoiets.

Kaspersky Labs has developed a utility to remove Cabir.a from infected handsets.

The utility will detect and delete the worm from Nokia 3650 and 6600, and Siemens SX1 handsets. It is also designed to work on Nokia N-Gage and Sony Ericsson P900 handsets, but it has not been tested on these handsets.

The utility can be found on the WAP site wap.kaspersky.com. It can be downloaded either directly from the WAP site or via the Internet by following the link wap.kaspersky.com/downloads/decabir-1.0.sis

How to use the utility:
upload the installation file, decabir.sis, to the handset, and launch it.
choose the Decabir icon in the main menu
if the handset is not infected, the message 'Device is clean' will be displayed.
if the handset is infected, the message 'Cabir has been removed. Please reboot' will be displayed. You should now switch your handset off and on again.

Daar ben ik dus nu zelf ook achter gekomen
Ben er ook achter gekomen hoe ik er af moet komen, dankzij een behelpende gotter , wel op de NIET-got manier zullen we maar zeggen maar alles is via de meel geregelt.
