[C&C] RA2 Geheime Units in FA2 map editor

Ik bouw met Final Alert 2 altijd zelf mijn maps voor RA2, en nu downloadde ik een keer een map van iemand waarbij allemaal nieuwe units zoals een Prism Soldier, B4-bomber enzo zaten.

Ik copy-paste een stuk uit de MPR file in mijn eigen file, en ja hoor, in mijn eigen map als ik hem online speel krijg je de units ook.

Nu vraag ik me af: Die units, die had ik nog NOOIT eerder gezien en krijg je ook niet als je battle labs infiltrate ofzo. Is het niet zonde dat RA2 die units ingebouwd heeft maar alleen op deze manier kunt gebruiken?

Om zo'n super-map te maken verwijder dan

uit de .MPR file

en paste deze code er in:

Ik was van plan een Final Alert 2 super units Editor te maken waarmee je kunt kiezen hoe sterk elke unit is, welke extra superunits je erbij wilt etc., maar ik kan werkelijk nergens op internet vinden wat de bovenstaande codes allemaal betekenen. Iemand?

Het is een tijd geleden dat ik me hier voor het laatst mee bezig hield, maar volgensmij ging het zo:

RA2 gebruikt een bestand (rules.ini) om alle units enzo in op te slaan. Met FA2 map editor kan je stukjes van die rules.ini aanpassen (dat is wat die code doet dus), om zo bijvoorbeeld units toe te voegen.

Een speciale editor voor de rules.ini is Tibed (http://www.tibed.net/index.php?page=tibed), daarmee kan je al die tags dan via een GUI aanpassen.
Als je het liever handmatig doet, zoek dan met google naar Red Alert 2 Modding of iets dergelijks, er is als het goed is genoeg informatie over. (rules.ini voor RA2 en rulesMD.ini voor RA2 YR)

Als je een map maakt met Final Alert 2, dan kun je dus die stuk code hierboven in je opgeslagen MPR bestand pasten, en dan heb je zomaar units die je normaal niet kunt krijgen! :D

ja, misschien ben ik een beetje onduidelijk, maar wat je eigenlijk doet is zeggen dat er iets aan de standaard rules.ini (die dus voor een normale map word ingeladen) moet worden aangepast...
Een van de units die die code zo te zien enabled is de hind, een helicopter die je eigenlijk niet kan bouwen, omdat hij incompleet is. Onder het kopje [HIND] staat bijvoorbeeld "Techlevel=1", waardoor die geenabled word (normaal is die -1, wat beteken dat die niet gebouwd kan worden), en nog veel andere tags die de snelheid, hoeveel die kost, het wapen etc aanpast, iets wat standaard in de rules.ini niet goed staat, waardoor die niet werkt.

Veel tiberian sun units zie ik. Ik ken wel voor tiberian sun en ra2 menig aantal mods die ook gebruik maken van die extra units. Tis tenslotte verder ook al jaren dezelfde 2d engine geweest van westwood die alleen opgepoetst is. Ik denk dat ze die er gewoon in gelaten hebben wat dat betreft.
Misschien kan je eens kijken naar hoe zij dat regelen bij de mods als je het wilt implementeren in een eigen FA.
