Hi,

ik zoek al een tijdje naar WinScanner of WinTransceiver van ene Malzev o.a. voor een Icom IC-240: ic240.exe.

Ik heb dat gevonden op een TriPod hosted site:

http://members.tripod.com/~Malzev/cb-funk/ic-240.htm
en
http://members.tripod.com/~Malzev/cb-radio/jackson.htm

De links naar de benodigde executables zijn:
http://members.tripod.com...iodoc/software/ic-240.exe
en
http://members.tripod.com...odoc/software/winjack.exe

Maar Tripod blockt de download van executables :(

Nu heb ik een bericht van een amerikaan die het in zijn members portal heeft staan, maar die wil een abbo daarop aan me slijten voor $120 per jaar :(
Hier staat 'ie: http://www.firecommunications.com/members/

That's because there is none. hello Marco. the Members Portal is part
of the RF/Radio Technicians Information Exchange. it's purpose is to
serve as a storage and clearinghouse for almost 1GB. of tech info files,
schematics, operation and service manuals, radio and antenna design
software programs and anything else related to 2-way-radio. i have put
it together to act as an online database and archive for use by radio
shops with a computer and an internet connection so that they have
access to it during the course of the working day.

access is based on an annual subscription rate of US$120.00. i hear
from many that this is too expensive for just a handful of files and while
this may be the case, i believe that $10.00 a month included into the
existing overhead of any bona-fide service and repair shop is a pittance
when you think about how else you would be able to make such a large
amount of information constantly available for necessary reference and
troubleshooting.

upon receipt of the annual subscription registrants are issued their own
unique user name and password. currently there are 5 members and i'm
processing 2 new memberships.

if you have a need for ready access to information such as this then this
is the place to be. i also offer 1 on 1 tech support in AOL/Netscape IM
client to all subscribers. in the future we are entertaining the idea of
holding tech seminars in the client chat rooms but at the present time
this is still in the works.

then again, the decision is yours. i tell many who inquire about the portal
after informing me that "they think" it's too expensive that instead they
may want to spend some time learning to use a good search engine.
you think about it and consider how often you find yourself looking for
related tech information and ask yourself, "is it worth $10.00 a month
to have this stuff at my fingertips whenever i need it or not"?

most people who use the internet have no idea of the amount of work
involved putting together, growing and maintaining a database of this
magnitude, along with all of the legal and administrative aspects.

attached are a pair of screen shots of the MP entry page. there is also
a private message board/forum coming online in the next couple of weeks.

let me know what you think....

Jack

Als iemand die portal voorbij komt en er iets in de richting van wintransceiver.exe oid kan vinden hou ik me aanbevolen ;)
PS: Het betreft notabene freeware.

tnx...Marco
