halflife2/cs-source commandline?

hoi,

ik ben zo slim geweest om met cs-source de resolutie daar boven te gooien terwijl mijn monitor dit niet ondersteunt, oftewel dan krijg je een zwart scherm, nou kan ik alleen niet meer in het spel komen omdat nog steeds de resolutie te hoog is, is er een commandline waar je de resolutie mee kunt instellen die je bij launch options kunt intikken?

Uhm, ik heb bij Source wel eens problemen gehad met AA settings (die standaard op 4x staan). Bij CSS beta werd er dan niet een paar keer herstart met andere settings zoals nu. Hierdoor weet ik dat je in de registry onder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Source\cstrike\Settings de ScreenHeight en ScreenWidth keys gewoon kunt aanpassen naar iets dat wel bij jou draait.

I ran into this exact problem before too. It happened when I changed the resolution mid-game. If you use command-line parameters to actually launch the game in 1600 x 1200, this should fix the problem. At least it fixed it for me. Right click on the Half-life 2 item in your steam list and select properties, then click the launch options button. Enter the following text into this field:

-width 1600 -height 1200

Please let me know whether this helps or not.

I like 1600 x 1200, and am willing to lower other graphical settings in order to reach it. I do so because the distance-filtering hurts my eyes, so I have to turn it off, meaning that I am severely affected by pixelization unless I use a very high res.
