Myst4 URU videoselectie [HAL of [REF], verschil?

Ik kan bij de graphic options een selectie maken bij het vakje 3d Hardware tussen:

NVidia GerForce 6600GT [HAL]
NVidia GerForce 6600GT [REF]

Ik kan in de search deze afkortingen niet in dit verband vinden.

Misschien hoort dit in het forum videoplanken, zou kunnen...

I see two options on the graphics tab in Uru (HAL and REF), which should I choose? - HAL. HAL stands for Hardware Abstraction Layer, and is a driver that connects to your graphics hardware, and renders using it. REF is a refrence rasterizer, and will only work if you have the right developer versions of directX, and even then will be slow.
