persoonlijk denk ik dat ik gewoon ga voor de RH10 ik ga gewoon een keer gek doen hopelijk gebruiken ze er wel 900MaH bats in kan je er een 1450MaH voor in de plaats doen .... Wat dus een paar uur extra aan luister plezier geeft!!!

Als ik RH10 intyp of Nw-E407 krijg ik geen resultaten

Gelukkig zijn er her en der nog wat afbeeldingen te vinden

edit: was het iemand al opgevallen dat in de display van de NW-E107 een memorystick logootje staat? De tweede van rechts. Hij zal wel naast het flashgeheugen (zoals vermeld in de startpost) ook memorystick ondersteunen en dan wel MMstick DUO want een gewone past denk ik niet in zo'n klein spelertje

"Sony will next month ship its 'iPod Shuffle killer', a compact Flash-based music player with up to 1GB of storage.

What distinguishes the Sony product - apart from the distinctly disposable lighter styling - is the integration of an OLED read-out into the player's casing. The device doesn't have a screen as such - track details, the time and tuner station information - appear on the surface of the player.

Sony will offer two models, one with an FM tuner (NW-E50x) and one without (NW-40x), both in 512MB and 1GB versions, and each available in a range of colours, including... er... "froth tea silver" if our translation software is to be believed. Other colours include midnight black, ocean blue, rose pink and olive green. A limited edition gold version is on the cards too.

In addition to the usual Sony support for ATRAC 3 and ATRAC 3 Plus, the players will support MP3 natively.

The unit measures 8.5 x 2.9 x 1.4cm and weighs 47g. While it connects via USB, the player appears to have a non-standard connector, so it won't connect directly to a PC's USB port, just the bundled cable.

Sony claims the devices will operate for a staggering 50 hours on a single charge, but that's when playing back 105Kbps ATRAC 3 files in "power saving mode". It's not clear what this mode is - presumably it's with no EQ and the display turned off. Still, it's a big leap over the Shuffle's 18-hour play time.

If it's long playback times you want, Sony also announced today a 70-hour capable player, the NW-E10x, available with 256MB, 512MB and 1GB of Flash storage. Unlike the NW-E40x and NW-E50x, the circular-shaped NW-10x is powered by a AA battery rather than an internal rechargeable cell, charged over by USB. It too is available in a range of colours: silver, blue, "velvet" and orange.

The NW-10x will ship on 21 March for ¥10,000 (256MB NW-E103), ¥14,000 (512MB NW-E105) and ¥20,000 (1GB NW-E105). The radio-less NW-E405 (512MB) and NW-E407 (1GB) will retail for around ¥17,000 ($162/£85) and ¥22,000 ($209/£109), respectively, on 21 April. So will the FM-capable NW-E505 (512MB) and NW-E507 (1GB), for around ¥20,000 ($190/£99) and ¥25,000 ($238/£124), respectively."

Het blijft me opvallen, hoeveel aandacht Sony besteedt aan het ontwerp van hun hardware. Ik bedoel, die e50x is toch gewoon supermooi? Of de RH10. En niet alleen de mp3spelers, maar ook de rest van de hardware ziet er meestal weer erg gelikt uit.

Volgens mij steken ze aardig wat geld in hun ontwerp-afdeling

Die afdeling heet Sony-Style, waarnaar hun webwinkel vernoemd is.

Ik koop het liefst Sony producten, maar soms is het prijskaartje niet gunstig (wanneer hetzelfde product van een ander merk meer dan € 100 goedkoper is bijv. bij de (niet-LCD) TV's), maar Sony is Sony en niemand kan zulke mooie ontwerpen verzinnen als Sony .

Iemand een idee van welk materiaal deze spelers is gemaakt? Worden ze net zo krasvrij als de titanium MS70D?

Ik denk dat ze hetzelfde plastic als op de E-99 gebruiken. Het is niet krasvij, in dat geval.

Dat is lekker zeg om te lezen.
Ben net op weg om mijn NW-MS70D aan iemand te verkopen. ruim 1,5 jaar oud voor 150 euri. Goede deal, of superstom? Ik was van plan een E-507 aan te schaffen.....

Cnet heeft al wat filmpjes van de E-100 en E-500 serie, ze zijn te vinden onder de link hier beneden. Ze geven trouwens niet echt veel info over kwaliteit en dergelijke, ze geven meer wat informatie (die we eigenlijk al wisten), maar het is wel mooi om te zien hoe ze in het echt zijn natuurlijk.

Ik heb het hele internet afgezocht, maar nergens kunnen vinden. De kans is daarom klein dat iemand hier het weet. Komt er een RDS-radio op de E50x?

Wel een FM radio, maar ik kan niks vinden over RDS.

Ik vind die E400 en E500 zeer mooie spelertjes, alleen vroeg ik me af wat nu eigenlijk het verschil tussen deze twee is. Buiten de kleur en dat de E500 in tegenstelling tot de E400 wel een radio heeft, waar die dan een 50 Euro duurder voor is, kon ik zelf niets ontdekken.

Pros:
Magical disappearing display; FM tuner; MP3!

Cons:
Display scratches to easily; confusing controls; not very durable

Saw this item at the Sony Store in Tokyo last week. Very "couture" and trendy flash player with potential for knocking iShuffle from it's thrown. (Pending final pricing.) Bonus there's an FM tuner in there somewhere. Downside, the controls are not easy to use with only one hand, as advertised. Also, good luck being able to read the screen after the, almost all plastic, covering has been tossed around in pockets for a few days. The samples on display where already showing their wear and the player hasn't even been released. Not to mention one was fractured from a drop. Unless Sony comes out with a scratch resistant model, or possibly non-plastic coating, don't count on being able to read that bright lower power OrganicEL screen. Too bad, what with the advertised stellar battery life. Maybe you can just commit the controls to memory?

Neuh. Die lui van DAP-review zijn volgens mij gewoon notoir anti-Sony. Niet al te veel van aan trekken.

Ik vind die SOny's er iig prima uitzien.
